The files that we receive are mainly via the FTP where the client uploads the voice files, which are in various formats like DSS, wav, mp3, dvf, etc.  We also operate an online account that is on the EMDAT platform.  The transcriptions are turned back to the clients via FTP on a separate location.
 
Now coming to rates and TAT, we typically work at 6 to 7 c per 65-character line, the work would be turned back in 12-24 hours unless we have a huge accumulated pile of work from some accounts where we mutually agree to a 48 hour delivery in batches.
