Dear Dr. Berman,

Thank you for the referral of this 31-year-old white female with acne and moles. She was treated with Accutane many years ago. Past medical history is significant for panic attacks and she takes Paxil.

Her physical examination revealed multiple red papules on her face, chest and back. On her right hip, there is a 1-cm evenly pigmented brown plaque but she states that it has been there all her life.

My impression is acne and nevi.

I have prescribed Benzamycin for the acne and gave her literature about skin cancer.
